Rishi Sood, the founder and CEO of Place Support Partnership, is a well-respected figure within place management and widely recognised for successfully executing place support campaigns nationally. Rishi has over 15 years’ experience supporting the place management industry and has built an extensive track record of successful collaborations with BIDs and councils.

Rishi founded Place Support Partnership in March 2021, having previously been managing director of Meercat Associates, which was established in 2007 and at the time was the leading provider of procurement services to BIDs. Rishi led and delivered the strategy of growth for the business between 2016 and 2020. Rishi has led Place Support Partnership to engage with over 25,000 businesses, work with over 100 BIDs and councils, and identify over £10m of commercial savings for businesses.

Place Support Partnership are experienced and award-winning brokers of key business services including utilities, telecoms and merchant services and more recently, supporting businesses on sustainability solutions including energy audits, carbon measurement, reduction, certification and achieving net-zero.
